Leading British Design Brand, Cabbonet, Announces Los Angeles Showroom

Opening in September 2024 in the heart of the West Hollywood Design District, the space will showcase bespoke Cabbonet kitchens and dressing rooms, serving as a destination to experience the European-made product.

Los Angeles, CA [August 14, 2024] - Cabbonet, the highly regarded British design brand by kitchen Industry trailblazer, Andrew Hays, is coming to Los Angeles. Best known for exceptional custom kitchen design, Cabbonet has found a home in the iconic Pacific Design Center, where visitors will be able to experience the brand’s renowned craftsmanship first-hand. Opening on September 27th, 2024, in partnership with Los Angeles-based kitchen design legend, Steven Cooper, the showroom displays interior spaces ranging from kitchens to Cabbonet’s newly-launched dressing rooms, all showcasing the brand’s artistic sensibilities and diverse range of materials and finishes.

Founded in 2019 by Andrew Hays, Co-Founder of the acclaimed London-based design house ARTEIM, Cabbonet is named after a 13th-century Old English term meaning "a chest for safekeeping." The brand was conceived under ARTEIM, the creative studio that operates at the crossroads of design, architecture and performing arts, melding the varied nuances of the disciplines to deliver thoughtful and innovative products and interiors. Its conception was a response to the high demand ARTEIM received from around the world, particularly in the United States, which inspired its expansion into new markets such as New York, Colorado and most recently, Southern California.

With over 35 years of experience in the luxury design space, Steven Cooper heads the Cabbonet Los Angeles team as Principal Designer. The Owner and Creative Director of family business, Cooper Pacific Kitchens, Steven holds a wealth of knowledge and experience that he will bring to his leadership of Cabbonet Los Angeles. Together, Andrew and Steven plan to bring Cabbonet’s highly original aesthetic to the city, embracing an eclectic approach to kitchen furniture that deconstructs the concept of the fitted kitchen, making each component of the space both beautiful and purpose-led; collaboratively pushing the boundaries of luxury design for the home.

The Los Angeles showroom will showcase signature Cabbonet pieces such as the Oil Cloth Island, Stone Sink, Vitrine, Sliding Cabinet, and Apothecary Cabinet, alongside additional kitchen furniture like the Sink Block Cabinet, Floating Island, Two-Way Cabinet, and Cocktail Cabinet. It will also be home to Cabbonet’s brand new dressing room collection, which will feature versatile closet storage solutions, a three-way adjustable vanity mirror, cutting-edge folding and pivoting glass entry doors, and more. Meticulously crafted marrying state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship, the dressing room further expands Cabbonet’s thoughtful home offering. Hand-crafted in Europe, Cabbonet’s new Los Angeles showroom is a celebration of drama and tactile beauty, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary finishes.

The Cabbonet Los Angeles showroom will be open from September 27th, 2024, by appointment Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
